Funding News Projects like ours rely heavily on funding from various soruces. To date we have received grants that utilise European funding, as well as some money raised via advertising on the 2005 broadcasts. We've had a few donations made and that's what kept us going so far. In mid 2006 we applied for some funding through Objective One, another government controlled pot of European money, but we were turned down in April this year. So, where do we go now? | Doncaster Youth Council. Thanks to the efforts of Nathan, he won us a grant of around £2,500 from the Doncaster Youth Council in December 2007. This will buy in some station clothing, so watch out for the burgandy tops of our staff in future, plus some PA equipment we can use when we're out and about at events. | | 
| South Yorkshire Key Fund November 2007 and we get the news that we have been successful in a funding bid to South Yorkshire Key Fund. This will allow us to employ a project manager for six months, who will be preparing further funding bids towards the longer term operation of the radio station. They will carry out training sessions, make contact with businesses to try and gain advertising , liaise with service providers and community groups to get them involved with our broadcasts and generally run the office throughout this period. This also covers the 4-week run at easter 2008 where we are hoping to be back on the air. |  | Doncaster CEN We made an application to the Community Empowerment Network (CEN) which is a department within Doncaster CVS that is handling the administration of some Neighbourhood Renewal Fund (NRF) money on behalf of Doncaster MBC. We were successful with this bid and the news was given to our committee meeting on April 23rd. This will enable us to rent an office at The Winning Post in Moorends for a year, as well as paying some bills and buying in supplies.
